We have both Gypsies and Travellers. I haven't (knowingly) had dealings with the Travellers, but the Gypsy King's Favorite Niece escaped from the nuthouse a bunch of years back.
There was a great deal of ruckus involved in that event, and caused a lot of "closing the barn door after the horse is gone" changes to the visitor policies.
