You know what, though? We only do the "yes dear" thing as a joke...I can't stand that whole complacency bullshit. If I humored my wife like that, she'd whup my ass.

Clean the house...make them dinner...give them sex sometimes...

I fail to see the complexity. All arguements have ended after I have done one of those three things or a combination thereof..really..this is too easy...

There is also this rumour that they like to be respected more than loved. Try giving them some respect.

I tried that with my husband. He likes it. It isn't that I don't respect him for various things..he just loves to hear it.

I was helping darlet #2 study for a bio test a couple of weeks ago. The topic was chromosomes and genes. Her study guide had a tidbit in it that I hadn't heard before. Males statistically have fewer genetic defects due to the smaller size of the Y chromosome. Less chance for error I guess.

Now darlet2 has already expounded on the unfairness of women having periods, babies leg shaving and so forth. So this was the perfect opportunity to give her a hard time and state that this was yet another way of nature showing the superiority of males.

darlet2's reponse was "Yeah right." And then in a stage whisper "Buncha colorblind freaks."

Perfect shot with perfect timing. I was so proud. *sniff*

Men aren't that complicated in my experience. Usually I try to think of the most brutish reason for what they do and it is usually the correct answer.
Well, maybe now I should come out of the closet. Most of my friends "in the real world" already know anyway.

I am a lesbian. A lesbian trapped in the body of a man. A lesbian trapped in the body of a man who is attracted to straight women.

Don't hate me because I'm different.

I know a couple of lesbians trapped in men's bodies. Maybe you should go out sometime.

lol ... If you only knew. I'll just keep that private part of my life, well, private. But suffice it to say that there are men out there that are as honest as the day is long and loyal to a fault. They have put up with just as much shit.

Some men are complicated and some are not. Same with women. Some people are complicated at different times of their lives too. It's not always easy to communicate with your partner, but if it's what you really want, then you can work it out.

Getting to know people is hard sometimes too. And keeping on knowing someone can be tricky also. People change over time...and sometimes they don't even know what they really want anyway, so I guess it's no wonder people seem complicated sometimes.

The biggest thing that annoys me about women (this a generalization BTW) is passive aggressiveness. They get made about something and they won't tell you why.

I find the older people get, male or female, they just become less flexible. I see this most among people who are single and in their 30's, 40's, 50's who are looking for a mate or a date. They are so inflexible in their likes and dislikes and what they will or will not put up with. Get a life. It is filled with give and takes in any relationship. Until we accept our mates for who they are with all their failings we will have communicative road blocks within those relationships. In the end you will still not get laid or get to walk on the beach with someone you really care about.

Actually Pierce, in my case it's usually something petty I get mad about, and if my husband would just stfu for a half hour, instead of badgering me, I'd be fine.

If you've got a few bucks, and a dog, you can have both... without the bullshit.
