Actually - do I look like I'm in my 40s-50s?
An old work colleague of Mum's has just come round to drop off some tomato plants. He said he thought we were sisters. I laughed, thinking it was a cheesy line about how young Mum looked. No - he said he was confused because I said, "Come on through, Mum's in the garden" as he genuinely thought I was her sister. Hang on - I'm 36, she's 62?! That's a heck of an age gap for sisters.

Still deciding whether to be offended, or whether he is just a silly old fool

It was probably the color more than anything--his brain just couldn't comprehend lovely lavender hair, so he adjusted the image and assumed he was seing gray hair.

Us mens can be horribly awkward sometimes as we attempt to compliment wimmins. Most of the time we'd be better off just keeping our pie hole shut. I'm sure the tomato plant guy meant well. He's just a.... guy.

Here's one of me. The pink area on my cheeks and nose are from the Lupus. Sometimes my nose turns bright red and my troops call me Rudolph. LOL
