The local badass stray cat has become friendly.
 Came to Amanda Sunday night when she called. Drank some water she held up in a small bowl. He stole her chair while she was inside getting it. Today, he trotted right up my steps, rubbed his cheek on my knuckles, and plunked down in the shade behind my chair. Like we was old pals. No interest in the water I got him. Just relaxing, scratching fleas.

He startled me again last night. I had my head down, watching a youtube of a guy fixing a fuel pump, and he jumped up into the chair across the table from me. We call him Bruiser. His left ear is messed up. Might have come they way, or the result of an old fight, but it is kind of inside out.
