Last night I put horseradish cream and garlic in the mashed potato.

It was delicious.

I dunno, my tastebuds aren't very discerning to begin with. All I know is that years ago I discovered I liked it when those items on my plate accidentally collided, and I eventually gave up the pretense and started just applying it directly.

Actually, yes, the recipe I make is quite sturdy. It's really more like lumpy mashed potatoes with stuff mixed in it. Very sculptable.

Grilled cheese/peanut butter/ sweet relish sandwiches. Grew up on the things. Some may prefer dill pickle relish.

I finally got around to making those chocolate brownies and I ate three of them as soon as I sliced them. The first one was almost (but not quite) too hot to swallow...but boy was it gooooood. Mmmmmmm...chocolate...mmmmmmM

Hey, I always thought chocolate was the perfect sweet/candy flavor... and now I think I'm going for the Swiss Miss sugar free, plus a spoonful of unsweetened cocoa powder, now, right now... some more cocoa cuts the salty note of the Swiss Miss and enhances the chocolate. It's all about enhancing the chocolate....

This thread title has never been more appropriate.
Phew!
Family BBQ blowout...

Back on the diet tomorrow.
I had sausage, vegetable chips, cheese, white bread, mini profiteroles...
Although I stayed away from booze, Baileys cheesecake and tortillas, so I have some pats on back to give myself.
