@Zen LOL at HLJ. He probably IS busy buying votes for himself (Pope don't come cheap)

Ibby----good question. Think hard-did someone hurt her feelings?

Ibby's tougher than that.
She may be protected a little at Bennington, but she has a tough enough skin to follow her path IRL.
I think she helps us rub the corners off the whole issue (as does Pam.) Not everyone is going to agree.

And she might not be as sensitive/ angry in a few years.
Even Maya Angelou unwound enough to read at a white President's Inauguration. If you read her earlier books it seems inconceivable.

More than that, I'm willing to bet that in 5 years she'll be horribly embarrassed by everything she's posted recently. Youth happens to all of us, she'll be fine in the end.

Where is Big Sarge?
Does anyone have a family contact number?

I've tried the number I have - goes to message.
I can email him but if he's not on the Cellar he may not be connected to the internet.

I'm worried.
His health is fragile and who knows if anyone would contact us in the same way Bri's family did.
I know he is with people who love him (his ex and eldest daughter) but I'm still apprehensive. They might not know how important he is to us. To me, certainly; he's another good friend.

Any news from anyone would help.

I don't want to cause undue alarm, but his facebook account is reading as deactivated to me. Can someone else check? Don;t know how long that's been the case though. he mayhave done that a while ago, maybe during that whole thing with the police, when he was being careful about his online presence?
