ohh, we are going round in circles, I knew you didnt mean anything by it...honestly.

I was just messing round...and cheekyness doesnt always look right in black and white. I need to take some lessons from Chey

You should know that Aussie humour by now.

i was just thinking that. aussies can be very.....well, cheeky and joking. and we americans can wear our feelings on our sleeves, as the saying goes.

no sweat, duck.

that totally reminds me of how my wife and i used to communicate, before we grew to know each other very well. two ways of seeing one thing.

what time is it there?

Its 3.30pm on Sunday, its raining and I am recovering from Bootcamp...so doing nothing.

I have several friends in the US and even though I have been speaking with them for 5 or 6 years, they still have trouble with the cheekyness.

You are right about the different ways of looking at things.

my wife tends to be more sarcastic than me. its been something we've had to work on. is that typically aussie?

I agree Century, DuckNut's is lovely.
DN, your hair looks a lot like my wife's when we got married. Very nostalgic for me. It has been short for a while now, but she is growing it out again... don't know for how long. I posted the wedding pics in here recently... trying to remember where....
Edit~
Found it.

Sarcasm is definitely typical Australian behavior.

RK - your wife is very lovely, she looks gorgeous on your wedding day.

Been a long time and she still is. I am far luckier than I deserve. Thank you for your kind words.

she gets that way, and i've had to step it up. now i am as good as her. she says my sarcasm has a sting to it, though. aussies are more subtle with it, i think.
