This was about the nine ball rack and not the spigot?

I thought it was some sort of triangular tin container...like to provide some kind of liquid or to catch it or do something to it, like aerate. It was part of the spigot.

I didn't see it was a nine ball rack at all...until I saw it. So don't feel badly Grav, I was perplexed too.

I see tiny bits of leather that looks like it was punched out. Though other stuff looks like slag or amalgam fillings, I'm guessing it's swarf.

footfootfoot wins!

You get a gold star. The minus one point for imagining leather bits is offset by teaching me the right word for the dark sparkly bits, "swarf". Although, after checking, I believe these bits are welding/cutting torch spatter, and not strictly swarf from a rotary cutting tool.

glatt gets a cookie for the story guess. Here's your cookie! Wait, the cookie's not ready yet. Sorry, still cookin!

so, it's whatever is inside these ankle weights.

for, like, weight, y'know? you've seen what I've seen. it is magnetic. but I didn't think welding splattered like this . to me, it seems like cutting torch spatter. doesn't weld spatter stick to what is being welded? I don't know. I don't speak metal as fluently as I speak wood or other media.
