There are 4 varieties of Belgian Shepherd , Tervuren, Malinois, Lakenois and Gronendael/Belgian Sheepdog. Victor is a Gronendael/Belgian Sheepdog.

Thanks for thinking Victor is handsome. I sure love him even if he has not been brushed for this photo, is out of coat, has not had a bath in months and moments before he was eating a prairie pie!

He is an easy keeper.

I am trying to teach Victor to herd. The trainer in this class uses sheep. This is Victor, the sheep, and I looking like we know what we are doing.

So after a 3 day herding clinic to train Victor, he learning the basics
and me not too confused,

Skip and I pulled into the driveway and 8
of our cows had broken the wire and were out in the mint field. :O

Skip was panicking because it was almost dark and I thought, let
Victor prove he learned a bit. Out of the crate and a "get out and
away" later he had the cows coming back down the driveway and in the
pasture. Lucky chance? probably but whooee that great. [No cow chasing
for me!]
