Thanks for noticing his best quality. He is a total sweetie, and he loves me.

Diz says - I am WAY over due for my close-up Ms DeMille!
BACK OFF CAT! Let me show other people how cute you can be at arms length, or in a cute dozing position No. I am moving. I am doing something. Diz has his nose in it. From unpacking carrier bags to picking up a camera, this boy has to investigate. Even when he is really dozy, as below. Just woken up from sleeping on my chest. The camera was in reach, but switching it on was too much for him to resist. What I'd love to get is a pic of one of his more endearing positions. Sometimes, when he is trying to disembowel my arm (I know, but he doesn't) he hunkers down over it and falls asleep. He crosses his frint paws underneath my wrist and rests his head against my hand. I get it - he's dominated his play-enemy, my arm heats his reasonably hair-free belly (natural! I don't shave it!) and it feels like he's top of the kitten pile again. It's just as soon as I make a tiny move he's up and being Sherlock Diz again.

Speaking of relatively hair-free bellies, this shot shows how I came up with my new nickname for Crash.
Smile for the camera Specklebelly.

How can one resist those blue eyes and "I adore you" look on Crash's face?!
Ducks, Lucy, looks like she's having an amazing time at the swamp...did you have to clean her up after she'd finished with the stuff in the wheelbarrow? |

Crash is too fucking adorable. I mean, that kind of cute should be illegal.
Lucy is awesome. I love the way she is basically a great hunk of muscle and power but has the most delicate name :P

I have a big old crush on Crash. It's like a Dave Mathews concert.

I like Lucy's spot on her eye. Reminds me of Petey from "The Little Rascals".

I've never seen eyes light up that color in a camera flash. He does have blue eyes, just not quite that blue.

Lucy has given me nothing but trouble for the past 12 months ...
She got her foot stuck in the picket fence and dislocated her shoulder, torn my hands to shreds when I got her out (me ..emergency room for treatment and tetnus from her biting..her...vets for shoulder). Allergic reaction to something that bit her. She used to get out every day and frolic around...the ranger kicked my arse about that. She pulls washing off the line everyday, she knows its wrong...she cringes before I even see the washing. Jumped up on the hood of the car to get the cat! Runs off when let off the lead. In the past three months she has become the nicest puppy, listens to commands, less boisterous, no nipping when she gets excited. My little girl grew up. She still pulls the washing, but she's never nasty and is so tolerant of the kids. Great breed American Bulldog. |

A great hunk of muscle and power. It's cool how some dogs just have that look about them. There's a Boxer in my neighborhood, and one day she ran the length of the block, and all I could do was admire her frame and build at full gallop.

I love Lucy! She does remind me of Petey! Crash is the most adorable potential sock eater!
I have a patch eye puppy too. Her name is Cashmere and I can't decide if she is asking me about her manicure or telling me to talk to the paw! Either way I am sure she said F ewe to her green sheep!

Even when it was too cold even for me to sit still for long, I still gloried in watching them at full stretch.
