Mum was talking about Davy Jones last night. I'd misremembered the story when I mentioned it a while ago. He was the one who asked mum out. She danced with him a couple of times.

I'm sorry for the family's loss but I won't be a hypocrite and say I'm sorry he's dead. He did so much damage to good people and organizations.

Sheldon, would you please stop posting death announcements in this thread? Pretty please? If it's something you just must do to be irritating, then fine, I'll just ignore it like the other irritants around here. But really, I had you pegged as smarter than that. I will be disappoint.

If you just hadn't realised it's clogging up the thread with non death pool stuff, then please and thanks and there is a link to a more appropriate thread above.

I don't read everyones lists so I don't know who is or isn't on them so that's why I post them here.

I'll just post in another thread from now on.

much appreciated. Also because here we like to be a little "irreverent" sometimes people who are genuinely mourning celebs get upset about it. This way they don't have to see the "inappropriate glee" if they don't want to
