Yep, and even tho it'll be quite some time B4 I see bit, I can pretty much guarantee he's better off directing this type of story than what he did with the Star Trek reboot.

I did too. It had nothing to do with Gene Roddenberry's original vision though.

Roddenberry's vision was a dream of his own day. Elements of it still resonate, but much of it has slipped away with that time. For the franchise to be anything other than a nostalgia piece it has to be a vision drawn from today.
