I insist on being "friends" with her and all "significant" friends -it's part of the deal (I also have her password and free range to read, but I don't), but some things are better left unread. Thank goodness FB doesn't have barfy smilies -the temptation might just be too much for me......

haha...I have been through this with Aden and his g/f. Thankfully they're over all that stuff now, but I can tell you he copped a lot of shit from us and other members of the family at large over it. lol

Heh... when my brother was about 10 or so, we went skiing in Colorado. A month later, my parents got an $800+ phone bill because he had apparently met some random girl on the slopes, and had been calling her long-distance ever since we got back.

I learned via the grapevine that he didn't ask her out by text/IM as I had assumed, but waited for her at school on one of the days she doesn't have early practice -she changes bus at his school and has a 10 minute wait.

I confirmed by usual sly mom method that they meet this way regularly.
