Ooooh I want in on the fun! I'm not from the US of A, I am from Texas, which according to our blessed preacher governor has the right to be its own damn country it if pleases.
This is probably gonna sound REALLLY ignorant of me, but I never realized that in Switzerland they spoke different languages. I just always figured they'd speak, ya know, Swiss. Learnt summthin new from you. I'm glad you joined our Cellar if only for that reason.

Well, heck, I'm a smarty-pants know-it-all, and that Romansch bit on the maps was new to me.

It was new to me before I moved here as well --- 11 years here and I've met two people that can speak Romansch ( never been to that area tho ) --- as I understand it is one of the oldest "living" languages and is Latin based.
