On second thought, having monster for a boss... week after week the staff shaves seconds off their personal best job performance... with the slowest sent to the meat department. Fair but deadly comes to mind.

Monster, that is really great news! And I am sure they *didn't* see all of what they're getting. it was the number nerd thing they liked -my job to make sure all the products scan correctly, UPCs etc are correct, and shelf labels are correct and sales labels are timely etc. not necessary my job to do all of those things personally, but I won't really be the boss of anyone, I'll just have shitty jobs for them when they're sent over (because they've been bad somewhere else
