They'll be crushed in an earthquake! Think of it - being killed by Webster the Unabridged version.

It's good to see they still have some room to expand.

Well they won't be killed by the Oxford English 3rd Edition - the current plan is that it will be available only digitally.

But even the digital versions don't have an entry for the word "gullible" because it's not in the printed versions.

From the looks of it they have a well managed collection

If you run out of room, books are a good building material to make more room... for more books.

Notice the titles... we read those in school back in the 50's
I wonder if any students are reading them now. |

I'm sure they're still reading Silent Spring, along with Al Gore's book.

This is like an eye test. The only titles I can see clearly are Catch 22, Proverbs, Children's Stories. Looking again, I can see Fahrenheit 451. Silent Spring wasn't published til the 60's if I remember my dates correctly.

It's a parking garage across the street from a library in the US, but I won't spoil the mysteries of titles or city

Lil' Pete read Fahrenheit 451 in English class last year. I can't make out any more titles than casi, but they're reading Melville right now... not a public school though.
