Mar 5, 2010: Venus de Rahway
Venus de Rahway, in the tradition of the Alexandros of Antioch's famous statue, Venus de Milo.
Except she's in Rahway, New jersey... and made of snow. Quote:
She attracted a lot of attention and admiration... people even stopped to take pictures. But then... Quote:
At least they didn't get maced, tasered, hauled off to the hoosegow. link

The fact that they were asked to put clothes on the snow lady makes me very sad and sort of pissed. Is there a LAW that says I can't have a naked statue of snow? Coz i wouldn't put a bikini on her. Maybe pasties and a G-string. Would that make grandpa feel better?
damn freaking Puritans. Ruin everything. We should put them on a ship.

I'll bet Venus de Rahway is frigid anyway.

I guess you can't go out in Rahway with your ice box and snow cones showing.

Do I have to label this as NSFW now?
Idiotic perhaps we should resurrect the dead and have all of them covered. WTF? must be cold - eek! Then again, there is this.

Hahahaha!
You reminded me...when I was pretty young my older cousin and I were looking through an art book. She told me that the Venus de Milo was a statue of a woman who couldn't stop biting her nails, and ended up chewing her own arms off! I was like "wow, really?" So, I've been trying to chew my own arms off so I can be commemorated in this way. I've gotten through part of one thumb.

I’d like to take a “crack” at her. I’ll bet she’ll just melt in my arms.

I feel sorry for the poor cop that had to take a “crack” at this case and “bust” them. I’m sure he felt like such a “boob”. OK, I’m done. Wait, one more… I hope nobody “snatches” her outfit.
