That is totally awesome. Two questions, although you may not wish to answer the second one: (1) Who designed the addition? (2) How much of a loan are we talking about, here?

Here you go... we did the paint and floor ourselves.

Two of the family room. (We already moved stuff in because my wife wanted to have her work stuff in the old living room without the kid interrupting it.)

1. An architect named Tom Dinardo. The contractor brought him in. Our lot is irregular--wedge shaped--so designing something that would pass muster with zoning was a serious problem.
2. It was a chunk, but we were able to lower our interest rate 1.5% at the same time.

Yeah.. you can smell the sawdust. (I was cutting & nailing in quarter-round molding till about 10 last night.)
