I need clarification...is this the guitar you are referencing as Mick Ronson's guitar? If so, then are we talking:
1) Original color? 2) Replacement headstock color? 3) Color terminology dispute? Clearly, I am not the Mick Ronson fan that you are, Ibram...

I thought the fact that he expressly allowed Google image searches made it clear it was a trcki question of some sort. Personally, I thought it was going to be something along the lines of "his is in a museum, he actually plays his friend's guitar in concerts..."

No, actually, he's dead, so he doesnt do many concerts.
Jinx got it. It's a BLACK Les Paul Standard, with the top sanded down and revarnished.
