The pedestal is made from stone near here , Undertoad . Stone from Hauteville ( Hauteville is about half an hour away from where I live) I believe that the steps of the White House are also made from Hauteville stone .

I listen to French radio all over the world , and I am listening to Tahiti at the moment . The Tahitian broadcaster from an independence-movement radio has added that he is proud of Zidane . My Black friends from Martinique and Guadeloupe agree .
Zidane is French . He is also a Muslim Berber whose family comes from Algeria .
I am Welsh , and I am French too , through marriage .

yes, the head butt has shown just how strong France is. but you should be proud of zidane anyway, at least he was ready to fight - even if it was just a cheap shot.

Grow up. You can't let the other guy get in your kitchen no matter the chirping. The game requires mental toughness. Head butt trumps trash talk. Zidane couldnt focus on the real game and got stupid and lost. The whining doesnt help. Congratulations Italy. End of story.

American refs (in multiple sports) don't seem to have a problem getting tangled. The only problem I've seen is forgetting to turn their mic on.

That tape must be uncomfortable as hell....maybe it's to make them grouchy enough to make the tough calls.

Its pretty much a continuous game though so the refs are running with the players while communicating, more chance of tangle. That said, the tape would kinda suck.
