Amazing what people will try to do to profit from the unintentional mating of two purebred dogs.

Several breeds are non-allergenic. Shih Tzus are; they don't shed, but they need haircuts every 6 weeks unless you're into endless brushing.
+1 on standard poodles. Great dogs; super smart. |

Um, I think I'll just stick to dogs. If I could choose any, it would be animals that it would just be too cruel to keep, like a giraffe, gorilla, tiger, you know, that stuff

I was bitten by a capybara once. Like raccoons, they are cute as all hell but they are definitely not nice animals.

My dad, as a kid, had a raccoon as a pet. A housepet.
...Yes, he did grow up in rural Fayette County, Alabama.

It's not such a dramatic story--they have them at the zoo here. We were there recording interesting animal noises to turn into dinosaur noises for a certain videogame. I wanted to get closer so I first stuck my microphone through the cage, and then got bolder and stuck my whole arm in. The little punk dove for me as soon as flesh was accessible. He was totally waiting for it.

I'm sure that somewhere online, there is probably a Yahoo E-Group for support of the game-designing victims of capybara attacks, but at first blush, it seems a rather rare set of circumstances, and therefore interesting.

Did your resulting scream make it into the videogame anywhere?
