Let them eat bread!
I really considered never returning to the Cellar after this latest bit of much ado about nothing, but I have learned so much here. Thank you UT, Brianna, and especially, Lumberjim for being my great teachers.
The Cellar is a great sampling of the audience I hope one day to reach with essays such as the one on "Clarity Rose" that I posted a while back. For the most part, people like members of the Cellar can make a difference in what goes on in our country. Most of you are college educated or as good as, solid members of the middle class, and interested enough in the issues we face to debate them vigorously and intelligently (with a few exceptions to the last). You are teaching me to be tough and to chose my battles. You are showing me what I'm up against when I begin to do more writing for the general public on the subject of social reform in the US. If it is relevent to the topic in question, I will still make mention of my situation. I may post other essays like "Clarity Rose" here. What I will not do is respond to any more personal attacks. Certain people put me in a "damned if I do, damned if I don't situation." Like: "Well, if you're really disabled, how come you're so good at explaining your situation?" Or demanding explanations of every tiny detail of my life and then ignoring or making fun of my replies. Its a stupid game that I refuse to play anymore. I thank everyone who has commented that I seem intelligent and/or that I write well. This gives me hope for turning my current situation around. From the bottom of my heart, I thank those who have defended me, especially Tonchi, Dana, and Aliantha. Patrick, your comments about your son are right on. I wish you both well. Things need to change before you pass and he is left on his own. Of course, UT can always ban me again, but until that day, I'll be around. I'm not a quitter. May every single one of you have a happy holiday season, and to all, peace on earth. - Monica |

Sorry, I don't have speakers and my graphic drivers still aren't right. No idea what your message was. Thanks for the reply, though.

I'm not going to enter the whole Mari/LJ debate, but as a stand-alone addition to a thread, I found that clip very childish. And it really made me laugh.
(I'm going to do one of my own to add to emails)

Ah - I wasn't sure if you were being serious. It's a really brief clip of LJ making blahblahblah movements with his mouth (no sound).
Even (or especially) given the the previous history it is funny.

Ohhhh my gawd, lj, I cant stop cracking up at that.
You are now the Ultimate Dick. You are the asshole that minor jerks aspire to be. You are the Holy Grail of jackassery.
