				3/2: Ice Hotel 2
Remember the hotel made entirely of ice, that appeared to have the Absolut bottle entrance? Turns out that was on purpose. That was the entrance to the Absolut bar. And it turns out that they are planning another icehotel, with another Absolut bar, in Quebec. http://www.icehotel-canada.com/ It actually sounds incredibly, er, cool. From the site: "All our guests will spend the night in one of our cosy luxury suites tucked in a warm sleeping bag on a bed of deer pelts. Suites are unique as their decor changes to fit a different thematic developed by talented artists." Your room isn't ready, sir, it's still being carved. Actually the prices are extremely reasonable. Lessee, a luxury suite for 2 is $264 per person double occupancy... but that's in Canadian dollars, so what is that, like fifty bucks? |

Hmmm, doesn't sound too romantic or cozy to me. If your wife/girlfriend wasn't frigid before, she will be after a night here!

I guess for the novelty of it, it would be worth $166 a night. Although, I think I'll stick with something a little warmer. | |

*Chip, Chip, Chip* "Housekeeping!" (In she comes with an chainsaw, scraper and a squeegee) Of course the deer pelts are flung all over the floor (again), and where are the damn towels?!? Can you see the Gideon Bible through the drawer of the translucent bedside table? |
