don't feel bad, thm.....timing is everything. hijacking a thread that has already fizzled out takes no particular skill. I do, however appreciate Elspode's intent.

anyone else want a piece of me? ....kidding!!

Heartland Pagan Festival begins on Thursday morning, so I have been living at the Fest site since Saturday in our camper, commuting to work each morning and back each evening.

I'm there to assist with the Fest preparations (we expect up to 1,300 attendees this year), but in all honesty, there isn't a heck of a lot for me to do by the time I get there at 6:00. My wife, however, is playing the part of SuperPriestess and coordinating quite a lot of stuff in my absence. I'm not real sure that I'm not a lot better off being at work, in fact.

This is the first year I've ever had to work going into Fest, and I'm going to miss almost half of the event because of it. Plus, once I'm there, I'll be working pretty much all day and a good part of the night. I don't think I'll be able to attend a single workshop this year. But, that's the price I pay for the thing that I'm most committed to, I guess.

Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend. Be safe.

The niece is getting hitched in Winnipeg. We get to watch some Stanley cup Canadian TV coverage. Go Flames!

Yeah, I've seen some on those "Flames Girls" on the net.
If the Flames win, the pictures will get better, I'm sure.

Rho and I will hold court at the Mayfair on Saturday, and maybe we'll go to the State Fair.
