Its the gift that keeps on giving...to your husband!

So...did it, um...hurt like a sonofabitch?

Yeah, in case I forgot to mention, spectacular job. How many pics did Jimbo take before you got just the right amount of show-through? You know, enough to *titillate*, but not enough to actually cause any of us to pass out on our keyboards out of sheer lust?

I have this vision of LJ shooting about a thousand pictures of the new twins, what with him being such a proud papa and all.

And thanks for the compliments, I really appreciate it. I feel kinda silly about the whole thing... it's such a ridiculous thing to do. I am so glad I did though.
Woohoo!
I notice things like this because of my problem recognising faces in real life. You have fine-boned, tanned arms in your pictures of frogs, and obviously you are slip-hipped with a waist. In a process of elimination there were no other female Dwellars with your skin colour, bone structure AND waist. I didn't want to comment on the breasts, but I must say - fair play to you. They look wonderful.

This is a very personal question and I will understand if you ignore it, but it seemed creepy to ask in a PM - are they lifted, or implants? If implants, how do they feel? I know you wouldn't settle for rock hard boobies that would outlast the cockroaches, but the only pair I've felt (for comparison reasons of course) was back in the 90s and when I say fake I mean FAKE! It really stayed with me as a sense memory.

Thanks! They feel pretty good right now... still a little firm, but they are still in the "dropping and fluffing" stage. They are silicon gel implants - no lift ( I thought about going the lift route instead but was freaked out by the extensive scarring). The rock hard boobs are overfilled saline implants. Over filled to reduce rippling, which saline is wont to do apparently. I had planned on silicon gel, and in fact only made a consultation appointment becuase it was finally FDA approved for cosmetic use (I thought about doing it for years). I felt both kinds of implants at the appointment and was shocked by the difference. The silicon felt like a boob - the saline felt like a ziplock bag with water in it. There's just no comparison, even with the silicon being about $1K more.

They tell you to plan to have them replaced in 10 years. Some last longer, some people have problems sooner. The cohesive gels (that arent approved yet) apparently last much longer. From my understanding, the subsequent surgeries are much easier to recover from becuase the dissection/pocket is already done.

All true. Wife got her fun bags last Thursday. Silicone. New stuff. If Momma's happy, I am happy.

Yeah, for 24hrs it was hell. Every day after that got considerably better, and by day 4 I was feeling pretty good. It was about a month before I could close the back of the jeep.

There was actually a lot of cursing about the unusually thick fabric that cellar T's are made out of....

Thanks blue, I think he did a great job too. And oddly, he looks just like the lighter-haired surgeon on nip tuck.

Not to detract from the discussion of the very lovely jinx's hooters ... but important safety tip: The mugs do not stand up well to repeated runs through the dishwasher.

Good, since someone else asked a question, I will too.

My sis-in-law is getting implants this fall, she's 39. (no children, and can't have any)

How long do they last? Assuming no complications, most websites list a finite time until they need to be replaced. I must assume that as technology gets better, so does the 'warrenty'. In 15 years, will you need an upgrade? What might that entail?

Just asking you, since you are the only person I know that has them, that I am comfortable asking. (Plus I didn't think of these ??s when I was talking to SIL about hers. I will though next time I see her, and update if anyone's interested in what she was told)

Thanks.
