I found a Bike just like the one I used to have:



The one I had was dark teal, though. Guy wants $800 for it, and says he rides it daily. I'm intrigued.

ha. I emailed the guy and was gonna go see it, but then he says, 'oh, i just realized that my wife posted it for $800, I wanted $1800. I'm reposting it for $1500..... what's the most you'd pay"

that listing is from Aug 3rd...

looks like the same bike was $4500 on July 21st

So, I went and rode a VStar 1100 today. Supercharged. Red. It was really loud. Not the cleanest bike ever, but in my range. And big. Everyone is telling me that the 805cc m50 boulevard (that pretty red one above) is too small. Might be.

I agree, absolutely. You need something much closer to 1000cc or larger. The difference is pretty huge IMHO, esp on the highway.
