I scared them off so we could be alone here in Meta. Cup of coffee (with no cup and no coffee)?

What's the difference between this run of simple posts in the Hall of Fame thread and a run of simple words in the Word Association thread? You do know that there is at least one poster there with ESL who may be helped with the nuances in usage of even common words. There are also times when posters just want to keep the thread going until an interesting run of words can develop. Should anyone begrudge them that?

Awww come on...why so touchy about my ribbing of the Word Ass thread?

(Oh, and because hardly anyone is ever actually creative in that thread. It's just one word vomit spews, and it comes to the top way too much when searching by 'new posts' and unless you linger a little longer than I'd like, it stays on top even after clicking on and off it.)

Sheesh, can't have any fun at all.

But I will concede maybe I've been unfair to ESL people. Think of the foreign CHILDREN!

This post is great.

Here it is in its entirety. Jim, this is so good, thank you for the reminder. Thanks for such a helpful suggestion.

A recent discussion in the Casey Anthony trial considered the verdict of not guilty. Many were scandalized by this verdict, and TheMercenary expresses best why this is not just acceptable, but indeed, is the best possible arrangement.

You are absolutely right.

Yeah, what I said a page before.

We should change this thread to "When You Wanna Kiss Some Asses..."

disclaimer: no offense to those who don't use this thread to kiss all the right ass.

And now you ruined the surprise, I was having your words etched into a brass plate that I was going to have mounted at the door to the Cellar.

Now I have to add all our names to it.

BigV, please be more judicial in your handing out of Hall of Fame plaques, it's really getting to be quite burdensome to have to make these every time something tickles your fancy.

and quit stalking me, classho.

hahahaNO.

It's kinda hard when you have something to say in every thread every day. You're like a yappy dog under one's feet that gets pissy when stepped on.
