We just can't tolerate people shoving their beliefs down our throats. Reasonable enough.

If Jesus died for all of mans sins, did He not die for the sins of Judas Iscariot also?

If not, why?

Are not the sins of Pontius Pilate also forgiven?

What of Cain, recognized as the first murderer? Are his sins forgiven?

What is the limit of forgiving?

Are Hitlers sins forgiven?

Pol Pot? Stalin? Jeffery Dahmer?

Just wondering...

Well, yeah. The way I tend to view un-Murdochian (read: actual) Christian forgiveness is like this. Picture a guy on the sidewalk behind a Psychiatrist Lucy from Peanuts-esque desk. He's handing out free money. Trick is, you gotta ask for it. If you do, cool: here's some money. If you don't, the guy behind the desk will be bummed because hey - why turn down free money and be miserable? But hey, your call.

Root theory of the Crucifixion in its basic sense (which is all I got from sporadic CCD classes as a kid plus amateur theology research of my own) works as follows: "All the bullshit you'd have to go through post-death to get into Heaven? I (Jesus) cut through all that. You don't owe Me anything - it's like that person that walks around and puts a quarter in your parking meter just before it expires. Just ask to be let through the door, and you got it. All I ask is that you not be a schmuck. If you happen to engage in schmuck-like behavior, it's cool, just own up to it and we're golden. Should you choose not to ask to get in, well, it's a bummer but it's your life."

AFAIK, "You might be a Catholic if..." was never part of his act.

You all ought to have some respect for God and His Son. Hasn't Jesus suffered enough (on the cross) without you continuing to mock him two millenia later? Or are you so insecure about yourselves that you have to slander other peoples' deities to feel good? For "tolerant" people, its fascinating that you cannot tolerate Christians or holiness.
You mean like this good Christian?:

I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good. Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a biblical duty, we are called on by God to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want pluralism.

Can you say assumption, or do you just make them?

No, fool. It's people that are so stupid they run around screaming intolerance, when in fact it is their intolerance that blots out the Son*.

*Son not Sun... get it? Clever, huh? Little Holy Humor. God loves to make jokes, Gannet495 is proof.

No one was slandering.......it's called libel you goof.

I think it is a good idea that we quit making fun of Jesus....I'd rather make fun of you.......

How did you learn how to get this far on the internet anyway? Is someone moving your mouse for you?
Trolling for Jesus? C'mon.....you are going to have to account for the time you spent being a royal pain in the neck.
You obviously don't know the first thing about tolerance or holiness- and it's not fascinating. Now go account for wasting your time here.

I don't think we ever actually claimed to be "tolerant."

I think you are all being much more tolerant of him in your posts than I would be.

Luk 14:26 If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
