Dude, I hope you're not using up all the DUI luck. I need some in court on Thursday. I didn't get to hunt this year at all. Next year, maybe. Weatherbys are overpriced. Buy a Remington Model 700 - the choice of snipers worldwide. [/non sequiters]

There is an absolutely magnificent 8 point buck that's been hanging out in front of the hospital. So magnificent, that tonight, a cop that was driving in was shining his spotlight into the field to get a better look at it. As he pulled up to the porch, he kept the light on the buck ... I asked him if he had a rifle with a scope on it in the paddy wagon. Unfortunately he didn't. If he had we would have had to flip for it. We had a good 10 minute conversation about the relatively quality of the herd this year, along with the rumors of a controlled hunt on the property. Then he extracted the patient from the back of the paddy wagon.
