I have one tat....strategically placed, no one can see it when I'm dressed, and I can't accidentally flash it while wearing 'summer' clothes.

It's a muppet, and yes, there's a story behind it.

I have two piercings (one 'set') also in a 'hideable' place. Those were done to remind me of something....important. And to freak out my Mom when she thinks about it *G*

ok, this is awesome! my wife runs into this all the time. She teaches 1st grade, and her children say things to her all the time that are clearly echoing what their parents say, and clearly things the parents wouldn't want said outside of the home.

I think Sondheim's "Into the Woods" says it best:

"Careful what you say ... children will listen!"

Like the one about the teacher who held up a picture of a deer and asked the kids what kind of animal it is.
"I'll give you a hint - it's what your mommy sometimes calls your daddy," the teacher says.
Little Johnnie emphatically throws up his arm and squeals with delight, an obvious indication that he believes he has the right answer.
"I know, I know! A HORNY BASTARD!"

Left = Celtic Cross/Shield of Destiny
Right = Yin/Yang with a black dragon on the white side and a white tiger on the black side. (Balance....good and evil, balance in nature, etc.)

Beat me to it... dammit...

Philosphy doesn't have to be a religion though.
