should've used pesticides instead of DDT, my fault. These things do very occasionally naturally but in recent years there has been a massive increase in amphibian mutations which has been directly attributed to chemical pollutants (primarily farm runoff) into water systems.

I thought I read recently they discovered the the mutating amphibians (at least in the US) was some kind of virus.

well, it's a new day, yet, no image of the day is here. i tried to post one, but i don't have permission to start a new thread on the images forum. oh well. maybe tomorrow we'll have an "image of the day".
