Well, I'm sorry to say that I didn't think The Matrix 2 was very good. It was okay, but there were lots of boring parts, mostly due to poor pacing. The movie would drag on, and then speed up, and then drag on boringly again.

It had lots of extremely well done action sequences, but with such a simplistic plot, it all seemed kind of empty.

Also, it had no ending! The movie just stops, in the middle of everything. There's no winding down, no stopping point, or anything. It just ends in the middle of things happening. Really, really lame.

There was one interesting thing that was hinted at near the end, though. If it's what I think, then the third movie could be really awesome. But if it's something else, well then, fuck them all.

I think he was great with "Close Encounters" but quite poor with "E.T.".
Any director has the unsuccessful works. It is not very easy for him because he has so many good movies. I think that Saving Private Ryan is good, Shindler's List is best. I teared out when I seeing it. "AI" is slao good for me.The child and Jude Law are good actors. "E.T." was best in the time. Then he can show that movie. I saw "E.T." last year. But I still felt that movie is better.
