My favorite Christian band were those stupid vegetables that would sings songs about cheeseburgers and pregnant kitties. You know - the cucumber and the tomato?

We used to call vegetables, vegetales (pronounced veggie-TAHL-is). Like digitalis.
No real idea why, just one of the silly in-jokes you fall into when you spend a lot of time with people.
