Strange... I just shouted your phrases very loudly from my balcony and got lots of strange looks. What's with people, anyway?

Well, one of two things might help here:

--You could simply ask him..."¿Es de México?" o "¿Eres de México?"

--You could say something like, "¡Todos los Mexicanos son wetbacks!" and watch his reaction.

He aprendido algo nuevo. En IRC, 'xDD' significa carcajada, o 'an outburst of laughter'.

Puta significa whore. 'Ir de puta' significa 'to go whoring'. Pero, 'puta de madre' significa 'fucking brilliant'. (???) Esto es realmente en mi diccionario.

También, pienso gustan significa 'They like'. Desea 'gusta' por 'I like'.

I'm still trying to figure out what 'ke' means. I'm guessing it's slang for 'que', but so far no one on IRC will tell me.

A couple days ago, my Spanish teacher told one of her students that the phrase, "I am singing a song" was redundant. For some reason, this really struck me. I had honestly never thought of that before.
