That goes better with coffee. Some use tea though, and Ali likes cold milk.
No I sure didn't. I just found out what a Tim Tam is! If you could see how much stuff I add to my coffee, you wouldn't ever suggest this. The cream and sugar is quite enough! I like my coffee like I like my men: white, tall, and sweet. Please ignore the last phrase.....

The Tim Tam Slam demonstrated:

(good quality but the technique isn't quite right)

of course, creating a custom card opens up a lot more options, doesn't it?

oh, and thanks for YOUR help, too Flint. You were nearly as helpful as you were that time I was stranded in Irving with no rum.

You'd better be birthin a baby or something. That's all I got to say.

Zen! Quit drinking your tea with that organ -- it makes you look like an elephant. A pink one.

And Lookout -- get the latté mustache too.

:p

You don't have to trick me into posting by putting my name in a thread title; you should know I do Cellar Searches for "Flint" by Posts, not Threads.

Oh and I drink free, black coffee, at work. And the only Dunkin' Donuts I know of is in a bad part of town, over by where they're building that new stadium. But...sorry about the rum thing. . . . And no baby yet, btw.

I spend nothing on coffee. pretty much. I drink it once a week tops, with the "Ladies who Lunch" (formerly a playgroup but the bloody kids grew up).

I import my coffee from the UK (athough it's French by origin) -not because I'm a snob, but because it took me so long to find a blend I liked in the UK and there's so many types over here and none of them smell anything like what I like...... so I stuck my head in the sand and went "wibble", and instructed my MIL in the art of buying the right coffee from Sainsbury's. The sniffer dogs at the airport love her

But I sell gift cards as a fundraiser for the school and I have many customers who use $25-$50 Starbucks cards/week. That's almost my entire grocery bill for the week! They are reloadable, but if they reload them, we don't get the 7%. So I sell lots.

Oh, and I've never bought coffee from a coffee house. I wouldn't have the faintest idea what to ask for. I think a latte is to do with milk or cream -and maybe frothy crap. I take mine black, no sugar. I only ever buy coffee when driving long distances in the night, and even then beest has always got it for me while I pump the gas and/or pee (often at the same time -those little buckets with the funny squeegee-shaped bogbrushes right by the pumps are so convenient). It's not the caffeine that keeps me awake, but the disgusting burnt taste. it almoste tempts me to add that creamer stuff. almost.

WTF? There are at least two in my town, and it's been in Texas for the 20 years I've lived here.

I don't drink much coffee. Usually one cup of instant in the morning, and occasionally another one during the day. I drink tea more often during the day.

If I go out for dinner and they serve good coffee, I like a short black to finish things up. Specially if I'm planning on staying up for a few more hours.

I dunno. Maybe he meant the only one in Austin, or maybe he's a damned liar. Donuts are disgusting, so I'm really not current on my donut store locations.

I'm in El Paso. Technically, that's still Texas. There are 2 DDs on my side of town alone.

Inexperience of latté does equal regrettable cultural lacuna, though. Starbuck's does all these cute seasonally flavored lattés this time of year, though. The pumpkin pie spice one is surprisingly successful.
