Not really, I think that they are overly praised by gun advocates. They are not more effective then other means of self protection, learn self defense fighting, carry pepper spray or a stun gun if you're that scared of other people. Don't walk down a dark alley. Blaming the victim is pretty much a reflex for you, isn't it? If someone "had to be killed", as you put it, who is responsible for creating that necssesity? Obviously it's the person who was attacked, that poor criminal had nothing at all to do with it.

You've read enough of my posts to know my respect for the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. We are a nation of laws and there are several scenarios where someone would be prohibited from owning a gun, in case you're tweaked about the "privleged" part.
