Well, actually I'm nearly home but my last plane's running late so here's a thread for your delectation.

In the summer these trees provide much needed shade along the main street.

A memorial to a poet and philosopher.

A major park in the middle of town.

The busyness, the intensity of pattern and color in the restaurant are familiar, after decades of association with Russian/Asian culture, but I find it claustrophobic. Beautiful craftsmanship, but not my cup of tea.
