What they need to do next is create a flexible LED screen that can be adhered to the membrane of a giant flat electrostatic speaker. So you have a 60 inch screen on a 60 inch woofer.

We tell people in the shop that plasma is better for blacks and they seem to like that idea

But it's true, plasma shows black better.

Now you tell me.... Anyway, it's home. Works. Gotta call comcast and get a hdmi cable box. I just assumed it would have it.... Also need a wire for audio out to my surround sound system.

Did you set it up on an entertainment center, or mount it to the wall?

I reckon that is to keep the risk of breakage to a minimum. that giant piece of glass is much stronger and better supported when transported vertically than when transported horizontally. sounds like / looks like you're in the clear.

When you fire it up and go through the set up, somewhere in the menu it should give you a choice of "Display" or "Home". The "Display" setting is for in stores where they are all competing for your attention, so it's extra bright. That will wash out some movies.

Just sitting on a table for now. It fits the space where the pocket doors separate the living room from my bed room perfectly.... Once I get more settled, I plan to build a wall mount between the jambs. I have to get everything connected properly first.

First thing I did was play madden 13 with hdmi connection to the xbox, then I put the new zeppelin dvd in to test the surround sound.....

Ok, skyrim on a 60" screen is pretty bad ass. Once I get the surround sound rolling, I might become a recluse.

Between that and the comfy couch, you'll be on a first name basis with all the food delivery guys in town.

Do you have a keyboard and mouse to navigate, or some sort of awkward remote control?

I can surf the Cellar on the Wii connected to the TV, but it would be pretty painful.
