I would send y'all some to try except they'll spoil by the time the package gets there.

Below is cabbage salad. It normally has chicken or in this case, shrimp, to eat with the rice congee. Typically people eat chicken cabbage salad with chicken rice congee. Anyways, the salad is supposed to have its particular sauce, which I never made so I don't know off-hand what are the ingredients. I gotta go so can't look it up either.

Posting from the phone So I don't have a chance to look up what the dish is called. Whatever it is called, this is the vegetarian version of it.

In case anyone who doesn't know, sweet soup is dessert. Anyways, someone gave us this. Ginger preserve candy. It's homemade and quite good.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353262083.569149.jpg

I had vegetarian curry for lunch. Ate it with french bread, which I kinda burnt, hehe. I had to put a spoon in there to elevate the food. There was a lot of water. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353262219.520430.jpg

I'm really enjoying this blog. There are so many interesting things. BTW, we know you are a great cookie chef. Any chance you can bake some Twinkies???

Ha....you're a silly man. Why would I want to make Twinkies? Just go out to buy some. I'm sure generic brands are out there. The last time I ate them as an adult, they were sweeter than I remembered. The only thing I never got to try was the Twinkie with chocolate filling. A little disappointed.

I've decided to give y'all a link to explain better the "ramie leaf glutinous rice steamed cake." Hehe....There's actually another link, which I may put underneath the first one, but it has a pop-up so I'm not sure if y'all like that or not. The first link is a blog. The second link a for tourism. I think the details a little better there.
