I watch the two treetops right in front of the monkey's face. When the ball goes WAY over the treetops, that is the ball you kick. If you kick too soon, your leg is extended and the ball just bounces off. If you kick too late, the ball goes fast, but the bounces aren't high (more bounces = more being on the ground = slows the ball down). If you kick the ball just right, it "tips" off the end of your fully extended leg, just as your leg is completing the kicking motion. It should bounce ONCE in the sand, and ONCE on the moon. It should still be bouncing coming out of the monkey village. You have to start with high bounces because once it starts rolling, you're dead.
