				A Big Sarge Christmas

I want to thank you for making this a very special Christmas. This year has been very hard for me with the medical problems and PTSD events. I'm hanging on to my job by a thread. I moved to an off grid trailer to save money. I asked Clod if some people could send me a few cards. To tell the truth, I needed something to display to look like Christmas and I just couldn't afford it. I'm even displaying the GVHS drawings I received. Those really touched my heart. I never expected you to send me gifts too. Bless you. They really helped me when it came time to put stockings out for the kids. If you don't mind, I'm going to post some photos of my Christmas with the kids. One more thing, yes money is tight, but I am very comfortable. The VA is paying for all my meds but one. I have propane heat and running water due to the water tank the FD fills for me. I'll have a small generator up and running in a couple of weeks. Bless you all

Here is my special friend, age 3, she was scared until Mrs. Santa Claus (TY-911 dispatcher) told her it was ok to stay with the police man until her mother picked her up. She was so precious and I promised I would send her picture to Santa to show what a brave girl she was! We had a tea party at the PD and ate some cookies that a dwellar had sent

Here's a photo of the cards and drawings I received. All but 3 of these came from the cellar or GVHS (arranged by a dwellar).

Sarge - I'm coming clean publicly as your SS coordinator only. I conspired with a couple lady dwellars who also deserve credit for their help. My son and his Special Ed classmates were very excited to thank a "Real Hero" such as yourself by sending you cards and writing you notes and drawing the pictures for you. I'm so glad you enjoyed it all. Making your Christmas a little more special has made us very happy. Wishing you all the goodness the new year has to offer.

I painted your trailer for you for Christmas. I hope you like the color, the store was out of plaid and paisley so it was this or tie-dye.

I like the second design. With the first one he might go out to use the facilities and not be able to find his way back.

It's not the angels that have little girls for tea Wolf, it's the TIGERS! I'd love to see more pics, Sarge. And I so happy that thoughtful Dwellars made your Christmas a little bit better. But as everyone has said - you deserve it. I'm sure you were in the thoughts of many other people too. |

If I could afford it, I would paint my trailer with the ballerinas. I love it!!! Now you have to put up with some more pics of our party at my daddy's house. We have Addie displaying her make up and the wonderful ginger bread house we made.

I laughed out loud at your Katrina gingerbread house. In a good way - it looks very much like some of the art projects "my" children make. Tell those involved that it looks gorgeous - because it does. |
