Methinks the Universe is telling you that killing woodland creatures is wrong unless you are starving to death and will eat every bit and use every part of the animal.

I think the Universe is teaching a good lesson and will provide the sacrifice when it is needed.

Are you going to make a pair of buttery soft moccasins from your kill? Are you going to use the antlers as a headdress for magical rites round the fire - thanking the Great Spirit for the magnificent beast you stole life from? Are you going to eat deer stew alllllll winter long whilst Mrs. Footfootfoot weaves blankets out of the deer hair?

Or do you just want a cool 6 points to use as a hood ornament?

"Shall I give you a kiss?" Peter asked and, jerking an acorn button off his coat, solemnly presented it to her.

But again, Bri, how much of the chicken do you actually use.
And how natural a life has it lived?

No, you don't kill it. But isn't that a positive for you?
You don't have to wring its neck or pluck it or remove the giblets.
And for chicken "products" you don't even have to butcher it.

But the chance is, it lives and dies in extreme discomfort so we (yes, I include myself) have have white meat that used to be considered a luxury item, any time we fancy it.

If I thought foot was killing for target practice, I would be anti.
But I can't believe he is that kind of person.
It's either culling or eating or both.
