It was suggested that I branch out to other areas of the site; so I am going to participate here. I do like the photo very much! It reminds me of the penguins at the Central Park zoo; although the penguins in your photo appear much cleaner for some reason... very nice photography!!!

I've never been to the Central Park Zoo. Is it nice there? I've only heard of the Bronx Zoo in NYC, and what I've heard was always a negative detail bout the old Bronx Zoo and how it was like a prison for the animals. Do they still have a Bronx Zoo? Is it fairly nice, or is it still like a prison with rectangular concrete cells for the animals?

The CP zoo polar bear died last year. They have a really nice penuin exhibit; as well as sea lions, birds (boring) and other stuff... I miss NY as I am in NJ for now... Pam. |

The zoo in DC is pretty good. The elephant house was the worst, but they just re-did it and made it really nice.

But I am not fooled by that apollo rocket! We never went to the moon. It was staged in area 51 in the nevada desert. So I am dissapointed that DC would live a lie...and fool the world. I was not aware there was a zoo. i will have to investigate online... Thanks, Pam. |
