OK - time for the update. Son1 is 21 living at college.
Son1 was supposed to let me know what his decision was by 9:00pm the night before so I could plan accordingly... we are leaving at 8:00am. Text exchange with Son1 Me - Fri. 11:30pm - "Whats your deal?" Son1 - no response Me: Waits an hour - goes to bed PISSED. Me: Sat. 7:30am - "Whats your deal?" Son1: 7:32am - "I'm not coming." Me - still pisses grrrrrr - "Thanks a lot. See you when we get back." Not 10 minutes later, Son1 walks in the door with breakfast sandwiches, a hug and a smile. and he says "What, like you REALLY thought I wasn't gonna come?" I love and hate this kid. He is SO MUCH LIKE me its scary. Thanks all for the advice and the thoughts. Much appreciated. ETA: (I owe him now ... He REALLY got me good.)
