I've been quite irritated by the Black Friday emails from Amazon.co.uk. Black Friday does not exist in this country. It really doesn't. Think about it - Thanksgiving...? No.
It's like Americans receiving Boxing Day emails from Amazon .com. I'm all for the integration of cultures, but not wholesale smothering in order to conform, conform, conform. That's Retail-Imperialism. Saying that, I was delighted to find our McDonalds healthier than yours due to consumer pressure. I celebrate cultural diversity! Probably best we can't get lagers in ours like on the Continent though
