I prefer the 3G, bought the wifi only because I have wifi at work, wifi at home, and wifi at pretty much every fast food and coffee shop in the area.
I tend to load my Kindles to the gills with content, and didn't think that for the 3rd one I need the immediate everywhere access. And it was $50 cheaper. I don't use the internet connectivity option all that much, maybe once or twice to play with it to see what it's like. I read books. A lot of books. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've already read over 100 this year (I think around 120 at this point). I use ereaders for READING, not as all-in-one devices. Having said that, I have to get back to reading. I hardly read at all on vacation and I need to catch up!
