No way to know which batteries last much longer. For example, HP was installing in selective laptops the latest technologies that last much longer. Using consumers to test a 'whole new battery generation. If you had one, would you know? Some manufacturers simply sell a battery using technologies from 10 years ago - no longer sufficient.

The problem is a lack of any tech numbers or standards to know which are minimally sufficient and which are selling crap for high profit.

Do you need long battery life expectancy? If not, try the cheap one.
