is that a good thing? I have to admit that I am strongly effected by the outcome of meaningless sporting events of the dallas cowboys variety.

ummm, i didn't expect the eagles to make the play-offs this season.
i didn't put a penny on them to win the superbowl, nfc or the nfc east when the season started, despite them being favorited. i have a more realistic view from where i'm sitting.
