When we say "fry" are we talking electric chair or something here?

There is no death penalty in the UK and any extraditions are conditional that no capital punishment is imposed.

No, it was a figure of speech quoted from the article. Which is why he will more likely than not spend a vacation in one of our very nice federal prisons.
