November 16, 2007: Toronto BSOD
![]() Gizmodo points out that the infamous Windows Blue Screen of Death appeared in downtown Toronto for a few days this week, at a The Bay department store. This sort of thing has been pictured before, and is not really surprising, except for the fact that they displayed it for so long. Days! At what point does the event go from "failure" to "epic failure"? Would not every sector of the store be asking when the "thing" could be fixed? Did disaffected store workers simply not notice, or was failure the expected experience there? Or was it some sort of publicity stunt? |

Not only the BSOD, but you also have to notice that a fairly ritzy looking facade is also decorated with a half-burnt-out logo. The Bay? The B? Yeah, real classy.
Or maybe the red x-mas lights half-way down the right side of the building send a clearer message. "No matter how easy it would be to fix, we just don't care." |

It looks like "art" to me. I want that painted on my house.
